Inspirational Women

October 11, 2011 Mrs TeePot

I’m not doing inspirational people like Tara suggested this week. Nope, I’m rebelling and sharing inspirational women, mostly in an effort to remind myself that they’re out there! You may well be sick of hearing me gush about some of these people, but I don’t care!

First up, a pair of inspirations! Sarah Brown (Gordy’s wife) and the lovely Laura (aka The Mummy Life). I assume I don’t need to explain to you why Sarah Brown is an inspirational woman so we’ll get straight on to Laura who battles chronic pain on a daily basis and is still positive and determined.

Then we come onto Jay, she’s awesome too! She writes a cracking blog at Mocha Beanie Mummy (but you knew that already), she takes breathtaking pictures as a pro photographer and she gave a fab talk about photography at Cybermummy! She’s also thinking about doing Google+ hangouts on photography too (feel free to tell her how awesome that would be!) and she is so helpful and selfless it’s just amazing.

Next up we have Muireann, better known as Bangs and a Bun, she’s made a name for herself through dogged determination, excellent business sense and an outspoken style that is second to none! She gives inspiring talks to other bloggers and she’s raising money for charity with Team Bangs on the Run. Awesome? I think so!

Then there’s Josie, over at Sleep is for the Weak she runs the Writing Workshop, lets us watch her on her artistic journey and bares her beautiful soul. The woman is has more awesome in her dinky, body than anyone else I know! She may, in fact, be the inspiration for the saying “the best things come in small packages.”

Also, she knits vaginas!

So there’s my list of inspirational women who keep me going and inspire me to be brave, try new stuff and be myself. There’s more, but I’ve raved about her a million times already!

Who inspires you?

I do find a lot of bloggers more inspirational and get more star struck meeting them than standard celebs!
