100 Word Challenge: Rain

July 20, 2012 Mrs TeePot

Water fell from the heavans and the rain turned the road into a river . People walking down the road put up their brollies and began to run as the cars slowed. Thunder clapped and lightning forked as panic spread among the people, huge hailstones began to land like meteors creating huge splashes.

You could be forgiven for thinking it was the end of the world as a tree succumbed to the high winds, taking a house and several cars down with it. You would be forgiven for believing this was judgement day.

Meanwhile, in France, I relaxed in the sunshine!
