Beneath the surface it lurks, waiting, just waiting for its moment. One moment where her guard drops, that’s all it needs, and then it will creep into the crack, clawing at her sanity, at her logic. Where once there was bravery now there is only fear, all sense abandoned. It worms it’s way into everything, enveloping her world. Fear. Of nothing in particular, but of everything. Her whole world suddenly a strange and dangerous land. Familiarity replaced by risk, comfort now crisis. No way to escape, her own mind turned against her.
